This is closer to karma than to grace.

IV. "Self-Help Gospel" Sayings
These emphasize self-power, self-trust instead of God.
3️⃣ "Believe in yourself. You are enough."
🔴 Very common in motivational / psychological / Instagram culture
⚠️ Problem:
- Self is not the savior; Christ is
- The Bible says our sufficiency comes from God, not from inner greatness
- Can turn into pride, self-idolatry, and ignoring repentance

It's actually not in the Bible—it appears in ancient Greek philosophy and later in Benjamin Franklin's writing.

- Opposes the biblical teaching that God saves the helpless, not the self-sufficient

God, not the universe, is the Creator and Lord of history. Prayer is speaking to God, not manipulating energy.
